• Lead day-to-day operations across assigned facilities, projects or service divisions, ensuring delivery against agreed business objectives.

• Develop operational strategies, annual business plans, budgets and performance targets in coordination with executive management.

• Oversee operational schedules, workforce deployment, equipment availability and resource allocation.

• Monitor operational performance using clear indicators for safety, quality, productivity, reliability, costs and customer satisfaction.

• Promote strong health, safety and environmental practices and ensure operational risks are identified, assessed and addressed.

• Coordinate with HSE, engineering and maintenance teams to maintain safe working conditions and reliable equipment performance.

• Review operating costs, control expenditure and identify opportunities to improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.

• Manage departmental budgets and contribute to profitability, cash-flow planning and financial forecasting.

• Lead senior managers and multidisciplinary teams, establishing clear responsibilities, accountability and performance expectations.

• Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers and business partners to maintain effective working relationships.

• Oversee contract delivery, service commitments and the resolution of operational or commercial issues.

• Support procurement and supply-chain planning to ensure critical equipment, materials and services are available when required.

• Review maintenance priorities, shutdown plans and business continuity arrangements relevant to the operation.

• Investigate significant operational incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented and monitored.

• Support business development through operational input into proposals, tenders, project evaluations and growth plans.

• Prepare management reports covering operational results, financial performance, risks and improvement initiatives.

• Drive continuous improvement through process reviews, appropriate technology adoption and workforce development.

• For the General Manager role, oversee overall business performance, including commercial activities, departmental coordination and profit-and-loss accountability.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration or another relevant discipline.

• Extensive experience in oil and gas operations relevant to the vacancy, such as upstream, midstream, downstream or oilfield services.

• Proven senior leadership experience as an Operations Director, General Manager, Operations Manager or comparable position.

• Demonstrated ability to manage large teams, operational budgets and complex business activities.

• Strong understanding of operational safety, asset reliability, maintenance planning and service delivery.

• Experience improving productivity, controlling costs and achieving operational performance targets.

• Strong commercial awareness, including contract management, tender support and client relationship management.

• Experience managing profit-and-loss performance where required for the position.

• Saudi Arabia or GCC oil and gas experience preferred.

• Relevant experience with major operators and their contractor requirements preferred, where applicable.

• Strong leadership, negotiation, decision-making and communication skills.

• Master’s degree or MBA preferred, if relevant to the vacancy.
