Food Services Supervisor

About the Role
Edition is seeking a Food Services Supervisor to join their team in the Red Sea region. This full-time role involves ensuring consistent teamwork to deliver optimal service and meet client needs, while also overseeing operational tasks and staff performance within food service areas. The supervisor will play a key role in maintaining service quality, safety, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure cohesive teamwork to provide optimal service and client satisfaction.
Monitor staff appearance and attire, addressing any discrepancies.
Manage opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing premises.
Oversee storage areas, ensuring adherence to FIFO principles and cleanliness.
Complete scheduled inventory documents and order necessary supplies.
Monitor dining room availability, service quality, and client safety and well-being.
Submit work orders for maintenance repairs.
Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model for Fair Treatment Guarantee/Open Door Policy procedures.
Adhere to all brand safety policies and procedures, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, accidents, or injuries.
Maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance.
Protect company assets and proprietary information.
Support colleagues with dignity and respect, contributing to team goals and quality assurance standards.

Physical Requirements

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds (* kg) without assistance.
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire shift.
Read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machinery (*, to identify defects).
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights requiring fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and ascend/descend stairs and service ramps.

Communication and Service Standards

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
Communicate with others using clear, appropriate, and professional language, and answer telephones using proper etiquette.
Listen and respond appropriately to guest and employee concerns.
Perform all other duties as requested by management that are consistent with the position.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Related Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
Licenses or Certifications: None required.
