The Role: Production Supervisor, Drive Unit

The Production Supervisor, Drive Unit, leads a front-line production team responsible for Electric Drive Unit assembly operations at the AMP-2 facility. This full-time role involves participating in first-build events during facility startup, embedding standardized work processes, and building a skilled team of Saudi national precision assemblers. The supervisor is accountable for shift-level Safety, Quality, Delivery, and People metrics within a specific section of the Drive Unit assembly line. This position requires 2-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production execution for an assigned Drive Unit line section, which may include rotor/stator, gearbox, HV wiring, or EOL testing.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as cycle time, takt, OEE, FPY, and hourly build rate in real time, escalating any deviations promptly.
• Conduct structured start-of-shift briefings and end-of-shift handovers, including written reports.
• Ensure compliance with Standardized Work Instructions (SWI) and maintain discipline at all stations.
• Collaborate with various departments including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Automation/Robotics, Manufacturing Engineering, EHS, IT/OT, MES, Supply Chain, Product Engineering, and external suppliers to achieve operational objectives.

Operational Requirements and Safety Compliance

• Enforce High Voltage (HV) Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, HVIL continuity checks, and mandatory HV Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at HV connector and EOL test stations.
• Ensure calibrated torque tooling management, angle-torque verification, and traceability for critical fasteners.
• Manage HV emergency isolation response protocols during EOL testing.
• Maintain a zero-tolerance policy for any compromise in HV or precision assembly protocols.
• Manage shift-level Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) responsibilities, including safety walks, near-miss reporting, and emergency response for HV incidents.

Experience and Work Type

This position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience in a production supervision role, preferably within an automotive or manufacturing environment. This is a full-time position.
