Role Overview

Alcon is seeking a Sr Associate, Logistics & Freight Management for a full-time position. This role supports transportation, customs compliance, and distribution activities for Alcon's Saudi Distribution Center. The Sr Associate will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, customs clearance processes, logistics service providers, and distribution operations to ensure timely, compliant, and efficient product delivery across Saudi Arabia. The position also involves supporting transportation projects across the GEM region, primarily focusing on the Middle East and North Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation activities and monitor shipment execution.
• Manage customs clearance documentation and serve as the primary contact with customs authorities using FASAH/ZATCA systems.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure operational continuity.
• Support NUPCO shipment processes, including ASN bookings and Goods Receipt Management.
• Track deliveries, resolve logistics issues, and manage customer-specific distribution requirements.
• Review freight invoices, validate costs, and follow up on discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with GxP regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, customs clearance, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of Saudi customs procedures and import/export documentation.
• Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers.
• Familiarity with FASAH/ZATCA systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
