Coating Supervisor – Job Profile

Position: Coating Supervisor
Department: Production / Coating Operations
Reports To: Production Superintendent / Plant Manager

Job Purpose

To supervise daily coating operations and ensure that production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications are achieved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise pipe coating activities (FBE, 3LPE, 3LPP, Internal Coating, etc.).

• Monitor coating line production and ensure adherence to project specifications.

• Coordinate with QC, Maintenance, and Production teams.

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures.

• Monitor manpower utilization and equipment performance.

• Verify production reports and daily progress records.

• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.

• Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings.

• Ensure coating materials are used efficiently and within specifications.

• Train and guide operators and coating applicators.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• 5-10 years of experience in pipe coating operations.

• Knowledge of FBE, 3LPE, 3LPP coating processes.

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with Aramco standards and pipeline coating requirements is preferred.
