• Review and approve welding procedures (WPS) and welder qualifications (WPQ) to ensure compliance.
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement effective corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor a team of QC inspectors, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
• Develop and implement comprehensive inspection and test plans (ITPs) for mechanical and welding activities.
• Oversee the execution of visual, NDT, and mechanical testing, meticulously documenting all findings.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and relevant codes (e.g., ASME, API) to guide inspection efforts.
• Prepare and present detailed quality reports, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
• Ensure all welding and mechanical activities comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Demonstrated experience with international codes and standards such as ASME B3, API
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities, fostering a culture of quality.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Physical ability to conduct site inspections in various industrial environments.
