Job Title: Associate Technician After Sale Services

Job Purpose

To perform vehicle diagnostics routine maintenance servicing and repair activities under direct supervision ensuring that all work is completed safely accurately and efficiently in accordance with technical standards and procedures. The role supports vehicle reliability service quality workshop productivity and customer satisfaction through effective repair execution proper documentation and adherence to health safety and environmental requirements.

Key Functional Responsibilities

A. Vehicle Diagnostics and Technical Repairs

• Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify analyze and resolve mechanical electrical and electronic faults across various vehicle systems using approved diagnostic tools and software.

• Assist in diagnosing high-voltage and low-voltage vehicle systems following applicable safety procedures authorization requirements and manufacturer guidelines.

• Execute mechanical repairs including brake system maintenance suspension repairs tire services and drivetrain-related repairs in accordance with established technical procedures.

• Perform routine vehicle servicing preventive maintenance and warranty-related repairs as assigned.

• Use specialized diagnostic equipment workshop tools and technical software to identify faults and support effective repair solutions.

Repair Execution and Quality Control

• Complete assigned servicing and repair tasks accurately efficiently and within the stipulated time and quality standards.

• Conduct post-repair inspections and functional checks to verify the accuracy safety and effectiveness of completed work.

• Identify recurring faults abnormal vehicle conditions and additional repair requirements escalating complex technical issues to the supervising technician or Service Manager.

• Follow approved repair procedures technical instructions service bulletins and manufacturer specifications when carrying out maintenance and repairs.

• Ensure that repaired vehicles meet applicable quality and safety requirements before handover for final inspection or delivery.

Documentation and Service Coordination

• Record work performed parts consumed labor hours diagnostic findings and repair outcomes accurately in the Dealer Management System (DMS) or other designated systems.

• Coordinate with Service Advisors to communicate diagnostic findings recommend required repairs and provide realistic repair time estimates under supervisory guidance.

• Collaborate with the Parts Department to identify required components and support timely parts ordering tracking and availability.

• Report repair delays technical challenges parts shortages and additional repair requirements to the appropriate supervisor.

• Support warranty claim documentation by maintaining accurate records and following established warranty procedures.

Customer Service and Continuous Improvement

• Maintain a professional cooperative and customer-focused approach when interacting with customers and colleagues.

• Support the resolution of customer concerns by providing accurate technical information through the appropriate service personnel.

• Participate in technical training knowledge-sharing activities and continuous learning to strengthen diagnostic and repair capabilities.

• Stay updated on technical information service bulletins diagnostic software updates and equipment manufacturer guidelines.

• Identify opportunities to improve repair quality workshop efficiency and service processes and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.

Workshop Safety and Compliance

• Comply with company policies workshop safety procedures environmental requirements and applicable health and safety regulations.

• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and approved tools and equipment when performing assigned tasks.

• Follow designated high-voltage vehicle safety procedures and undertake high-voltage work only when appropriately trained and authorized.

• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area ensuring proper storage and handling of tools equipment parts and materials.

• Report unsafe conditions equipment defects workplace hazards and incidents promptly to the relevant supervisor.

• Support compliance with workshop housekeeping waste disposal and environmental protection standards.

Job Requirements

Education

• Technical Diploma in Automotive Service Technology Auto Electrical Technology or a related field from a recognized college or technical institution.

Experience

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics vehicle servicing repairs or a related field.
