Role Description The Senior Electrical Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Jiddah, supporting power plant, refinery, and industrial facilities. This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and testing electrical systems and equipment, including motors, switchgear, panels, and control circuits. Day-to-day tasks include performing scheduled preventive maintenance, diagnosing electrical faults, executing corrective actions, and documenting work in maintenance management systems. The role also involves reading and interpreting electrical drawings, coordinating with engineering and operations teams during shutdowns and startups, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements. The Senior Electrical Technician may guide junior technicians, contribute to root-cause analyses, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and minimize downtime.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance, including preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial electrical systems.
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electricity and Electrical Engineering principles applicable to power plant, refinery, and industrial environments.
• Candidates should possess proven Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing faults in electrical circuits, control systems, and equipment.
• Candidates should possess hands-on experience working with Electrical Equipment such as switchgear, transformers, motors, drives, and protection devices.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with several years of experience in heavy industrial or energy facilities.
• Commitment to safety, familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures, and adherence to local and international electrical standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals, and to use standard electrical testing instruments.
• Effective communication skills, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams, and readiness to participate in shift work or emergency call-outs as required.
