Job Summary
As an Account Manager you own and grow customer relationships by delivering consistent service excellence and aligning customer needs with Expeditors global network. You serve as the primary contact for your accounts driving retention identifying growth opportunities and ensuring strong operational and commercial alignment.
- Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable for customer outcomes revenue targets and service excellence.
- Build and lead a team of Global Account Managers with deep customer knowledge and strategic planning skills.
- Ensure teams are aligned with customer goals proactively identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and expand services.
- Lead efforts to generate new revenue diversify existing streams and retain business through thoughtful engagement.
- Personally manage one strategic global account to stay connected to customer needs and model leadership behaviors.
- Collaborate with Sales Product Operations and Executive Leadership to align account strategies with company goals.
- Champion the Expeditors experience by delivering our value proposition and reinforcing service integrity and operational excellence.
- Support regional and global initiatives that drive strategic growth.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions one-on-ones and annual performance reviews fostering a culture of mentorship and continuous development.
Qualifications :
- Proven success in global account management including direct ownership of complex high-value customer relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of developing and inspiring teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to drive revenue growth in a global matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills.
- 10 years of supply chain or related industry experience with 5 years in account management.
- Willingness to travel globally as needed
