Overview

The Project Operations Lead is responsible for overseeing the operational execution of projects ensuring delivery objectives are met on time within budget and to the required quality standards. This role acts as a bridge between project teams stakeholders and leadership to drive efficiency governance and continuous improvement. The position focuses on project planning resource management performance tracking and operational excellence across the project portfolio.

Your role

• Lead and coordinate project operations to ensure successful project delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans schedules budgets and resource allocation strategies.
• Monitor project performance risks issues and dependencies ensuring timely resolution.
• Establish and enforce project governance processes and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams clients vendors and stakeholders.
• Track key project metrics and provide regular status reports to management.
• Optimize operational workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Support project managers with planning execution and change management activities.
• Manage resource utilization and capacity planning across multiple projects.
• Ensure project documentation is maintained accurately and consistently.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency.
• Facilitate project review meetings lessons learned sessions and operational audits.

About you

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Engineering Project Management or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in project operations project management or program management.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PMI PRINCE2 Agile or similar).
• Proven experience managing multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with project management and reporting tools such as MS Project Jira Smartsheet or similar platforms.
• Advanced skills in project tracking budgeting forecasting and resource planning.
• Ability to manage risks priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership organizational and team collaboration capabilities.
• PMP PRINCE2 Agile or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel PowerPoint and Power BI.
