About the Role

H. M. Al Rugaib & Sons Trading is seeking a CNC Wood Machine Operator to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Region. This full-time role involves operating computer-controlled machinery for processing wood and other furniture materials, ensuring precise production according to technical specifications and maintaining high product quality and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines for cutting, drilling, routing, and shaping wood and furniture components.
• Load raw materials and secure workpieces accurately before machine operations.
• Select and execute approved CNC programs based on production requirements.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and cutting specifications.
• Inspect finished components to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor machine performance and report technical issues or production irregularities.
• Replace cutting tools as needed and perform routine machine cleaning and maintenance.
• Minimize material waste and ensure efficient use of raw materials.
• Follow production schedules and meet daily output targets.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Coordinate with production supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience operating CNC machines, preferably in wood manufacturing or furniture production.
• Basic knowledge of CNC machine operations and wood-cutting processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand measurements.
• Familiarity with machine tools, cutting equipment, and material handling.
• Good attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to identify basic machine faults and report maintenance requirements.
• Commitment to workplace safety and production procedures.
• Technical or vocational training in CNC operation is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience operating CNC routers and panel-cutting machines in furniture factories.
• Knowledge of MDF, plywood, solid wood, and other furniture materials.
• Basic understanding of CNC programming and machine setup.
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, within a production environment focused on wood and furniture manufacturing.
