Althelim Holding, through its entity HeavyTech Experts, specializes in offshore pedestal crane maintenance, inspection, and winch overhaul services. The company is currently expanding its team for long-term offshore crane maintenance operations. The workshop facilities are located in Dammam Industrial Area 2, KSA.

Available Positions

We are seeking qualified professionals for the following full-time positions in Dammam, Eastern Province, requiring 5-10 years of experience:

1. Offshore Support Engineer: This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 5 years of offshore experience in pedestal crane maintenance, troubleshooting, and major repairs. Responsibilities include preparing technical reports, method statements, lifting plans, and maintenance records, as well as supporting the site team with breakdowns, failure analysis, and OEM technical issues.
2. Offshore Crane Supervisor: Candidates must have at least 5 years of offshore experience on pedestal cranes, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity, and be API RP 2D qualified. The supervisor leads crane maintenance teams, plans preventive maintenance work, and manages permit-to-work, toolbox talks, and HSE compliance. Hands-on experience with Sparrows, Oil States, American Aero, Liebherr, and/or Favelle Favco cranes is required.
3. Offshore Crane Inspector: This position requires an API RP 2D Qualified Inspector with at least 5 years of offshore crane inspection experience. The inspector performs periodic and annual inspections, wire rope and structural checks, and load test witnessing in accordance with API RP 2D. Good knowledge of API Spec 2C is essential, and a LEEA or third-party inspection background is an advantage.
4. Offshore Crane Technicians (Mechanical / Hydraulic / Electrical): Applicants should have at least 5 years of offshore experience in pedestal crane maintenance and possess an API RP 2D training certificate. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance of hydraulics, slew systems, wire ropes, safe load indicators, and control systems.
5. Specialized Winch Overhaul Technicians (Workshop – Dammam): This role requires at least 5 years of experience in the full strip-down, inspection, repair, and reassembly of crane winches. Experience with Braden and/or Liebherr winches, including planetary gearboxes, brakes, sprag clutches, and hydraulic motors, is necessary. Tasks involve load and line-pull testing and the preparation of overhaul reports.

General Requirements for Offshore Positions

All offshore roles require specific certifications and skills to ensure operational readiness and safety.

• Valid offshore certificates: BOSIET/FOET (OPITO), H2S, and an offshore medical certificate.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Gulf (GCC) offshore experience is a significant advantage.
