Job Description

We are seeking a contractor with practical experience in the contracting and construction sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to participate in a paid remote consultation session lasting between 60 and 120 minutes. The goal is to understand the heavy equipment market, rental mechanisms, contractor needs, and the opportunities and challenges associated with creating an online platform that connects clients with equipment suppliers.

Responsibilities and Consulting Topics

• Share practical experience in the use and rental of heavy equipment in construction projects.
• Identify the most in-demand equipment types and the needs of various projects.
• Clarify rental mechanisms, pricing, and contracting models used in the Saudi market.
• Explain the criteria for selecting equipment companies and suppliers and the decision-making process for rentals.
• Identify the main challenges contractors face when renting heavy equipment.
• Clarify what contractors need from rental companies and suppliers.
• Evaluate opportunities for leveraging an online platform that connects contractors with heavy equipment suppliers.
• Provide insights into market trends and available opportunities to improve equipment rental services.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Practical experience in the contracting and construction sector within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Direct experience in renting heavy equipment or managing and using it in projects.
• Knowledge of the types of equipment required, rental costs, and contracting mechanisms.
• Understanding of the nature of contractors' work, project needs, and operational challenges.
• Fluency in Arabic, with preference given to those with long-standing experience and extensive relationships in the Saudi market.
