About the Role
Wataniya Insurance Co. is seeking a Broker Relationship Officer to establish and maintain business relationships with new and existing brokers. This full-time role involves providing accurate and timely commission payments to brokers and resolving administrative and specialized issues they may encounter. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve brokers' productivity and efficiency to meet sales targets.
- Schedule frequent visits with brokers within assigned regions to maintain excellent relationships.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to brokers regarding products and services.
- Act as the primary contact person for brokers in the respective region.
- Prepare periodical reports on brokers’ sales and collections performance.
- Ensure the provision of high-quality client services.
- Ensure renewal notices are sent to clients in a proper and timely manner.
Daily Duties
- Attend team meetings and share best practices with colleagues.
- Report sales activities on daily, weekly, and monthly bases, or as requested.
- Gain a clear understanding of brokers’ business operations and requirements.
- Update the existing database with the status of each broker.
- Maintain strong relationships and service with existing brokers, addressing complaints through regular visits, follow-up, and responding to inquiries to create sales opportunities for Wataniya.
- Contact potential brokers through calls, emails, and by arranging meetings.
- Coordinate with the underwriting department to customize services for large accounts.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements, industry regulations, and Wataniya’s policies.
Experience and Qualifications
Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of broker relationships and sales support within the insurance sector.
