Role Overview

The Head Bartender at EDITION is responsible for creating a memorable guest experience beyond standard food and beverage service. This full-time role involves proactive guest interaction and a comprehensive approach to service delivery, ensuring that every transaction contributes positively to the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting tables and preparing service areas.
• Communicating effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Interacting with and serving guests, taking initiative to enhance their dining experience.
• Maintaining cleanliness of work areas and supplies.
• Adhering to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Ensuring a professional appearance and communication style.
• Creating and maintaining a safe workplace environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Proficiency in reading and visually verifying information, including menus.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of experience in a related guest service role.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver professional service and uphold quality standards.
• A professional demeanor and appearance are required.
