Job description
Our customer is hiring for the following role:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Farm Manager to oversee agricultural operations in Al Qassim Region, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in farming practices, crop management, and team leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker who can enhance productivity while maintaining sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily farm operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to agricultural best practices.
- Develop and implement crop management plans, including planting schedules, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control.
- Monitor and evaluate crop health, soil conditions, and weather patterns to optimize yield.
- Manage and train farm staff, promoting a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of production, labor, and expenses, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality seeds, fertilizers, and equipment.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements in farming techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in farm management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of agronomy, soil science, and farm machinery.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
