About the Role
Qanbar Ready Mix is looking for a Dispatcher Clerk to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This role aims to coordinate and support daily operations for the production, routing, transport, and delivery of ready-mix concrete. The job holder serves as a primary link between the plant, quality, maintenance, sales, and booking departments, and customers to ensure the efficient, safe, and timely execution of production and delivery plans.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Coordinate production and delivery schedules and maintain effective daily communication between all stakeholders.
- Organize truck movements and monitor delivery operations, including delays, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Coordinate with booking and sales departments regarding incoming orders and available production capacity.
- Inform the plant and quality department of priorities and follow up on any issues that may affect production.
- Monitor truck fleet availability, track breakdowns, and coordinate maintenance work that affects operations.
- Coordinate with customers, contractors, and sites to ensure readiness for delivery and receipt of concrete.
- Monitor breakdown situations and take necessary corrective actions, escalating major issues when necessary.
- Support safety procedures and report any accidents or potential hazards.
- Document production and delivery data, truck movements, and delays, and prepare periodic reports.
- Propose improvements to scheduling and truck utilization to increase operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience ranging from 0 to 1 year in a relevant field.
- Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with various departments and external parties.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position in Dammam, Eastern Province, requiring a commitment to ensure transport operations run smoothly and efficiently within a dynamic work environment. The salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
