About the job
We are seeking an Architectural Engineer with experience in interior design to develop creative, practical, and high-quality design concepts and architectural drawings for interior fit-out, finishing, and decoration projects.
The role is responsible for preparing interior design concepts, developing architectural drawings, and coordinating with the Finishing & Decoration department to ensure designs are implemented accurately and in accordance with approved specifications.
The ideal candidate combines strong design capabilities with practical knowledge of materials, finishing techniques, and site execution, ensuring that design concepts are both aesthetically appealing and technically feasible.
Key Accountabilities
1. Interior Design & Concept Development Prepare creative and functional interior design concepts based on project requirements. Develop space plans, furniture layouts, material selections, and design presentations. Ensure designs balance aesthetics, functionality, and practical implementation.
2. Architectural Drawings & Documentation Prepare architectural drawings, detailed layouts, elevations, sections, and interior design documentation. Develop drawings suitable for execution by the Finishing & Decoration department. Ensure accuracy and consistency across all design deliverables.
3. Finishing & Decoration Coordination Coordinate with the Finishing & Decoration department to communicate design requirements and specifications. Follow up on project implementation to ensure alignment with approved designs. Provide technical clarification and resolve design-related issues during execution.
4. Materials & Design Specifications Assist in selecting finishing materials, colours, fixtures, and decorative elements. Prepare material schedules and design specifications to support procurement and execution. Recommend practical design solutions that consider quality, cost, and availability.
5. Site Follow-Up & Quality Control Conduct site visits to monitor the implementation of interior design works. Review finishing quality and identify deviations from approved drawings. Coordinate necessary adjustments with the execution team.
6. Reporting & Coordination Provide regular updates on design progress and implementation status. Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and relevant departments to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
7. Other Perform any other duties reasonably required by management that are consistent with the scope of this role.

Experience:
▸ Previous professional experience in interior design is required
▸ Experience preparing interior design concepts and architectural drawings
▸ Experience coordinating with finishing and decoration teams during project implementation
▸ Familiarity with interior finishing materials, execution methods, and site coordination
Education:
▸ Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, or a related discipline is preferred
Languages:
▸ Arabic — Required
▸ English — Proficient, required
