Role Description The Crane Rigger role at BOSHUNDHARA GROUP is a full-time, on-site position based in the Riyadh Region. The Crane Rigger is responsible for preparing and securing loads for lifting, attaching rigging equipment, and guiding crane operators to ensure safe and accurate placement of materials. Daily tasks include inspecting lifting gear and cranes before use, confirming load weights and balance, and coordinating with site supervisors to plan lifting operations. The role involves working closely with heavy equipment operators, following safety procedures and site regulations, and maintaining clear communication to prevent incidents. The Crane Rigger also assists with basic maintenance of rigging equipment, documentation of inspections, and reporting any hazards or equipment defects.
Qualifications

• Proficiency in lifting operations, including planning, signaling, and coordinating safe load movement.
• Experience working around heavy equipment and understanding of safe operating practices in active work sites.
• Knowledge of lifting equipment such as slings, shackles, hooks, and spreader beams, and proper selection and use.
• Ability to perform thorough inspection of rigging gear and cranes to identify wear, defects, or unsafe conditions.
• Familiarity with crane operations and load charts, and ability to communicate effectively with crane operators.
• Relevant certifications or training in rigging, crane operations, or occupational safety (e.g., rigger certification) are highly beneficial.
• Strong awareness of safety standards, risk assessment skills, and commitment to following company and regulatory guidelines.
• Physical ability to handle manual tasks, work at heights where required, and operate in outdoor or high-activity environments.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read instructions, interpret load data, and complete checklists and reports.
• Previous experience in construction, industrial, or logistics sites within the Riyadh Region or similar environments is an advantage.
