About the Role

Pepsico is seeking a SR.Preseller to join its sales team. This full-time position is critical for maximizing the on-shelf presence of products in all outlets served by the merchandiser. The role involves ensuring adherence to planograms and reporting any non-compliance to agreed arrangements.

Role Context and Objectives

The primary objective of the SR.Preseller is to enhance product visibility and availability in retail environments. This includes executing in-store sampling and promotional activities when required, and maintaining strong communication with the pre-seller to leverage market information for sales opportunities. The role requires a proactive approach to merchandising and market monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit specific OT outlets daily as per the journey plan provided by the supervisor.
• Merchandise SSFL products across various access points within OT stores, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
• Place Point of Sale (POS) material next to SSFL displays where applicable.
• Ensure all access points are merchandised in accordance with approved planograms.
• Rotate products using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method and remove sub-standard items.
• Maintain clean and fresh stock of SSF products on the shelf at all times.
• Monitor and report competitive activities in the market.
• Report any deviations from agreed terms with assigned OT customers or outlets.
• Submit daily activity reports for the prior day to the supervisor.
• Participate in sampling and redemption campaigns as required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior consistent with the Frito Lay code of conduct.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the SR.Preseller position should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. The role requires an individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while adhering to established guidelines and plans.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position within the Pepsico sales team, involving regular travel to various retail outlets as part of a daily journey plan. The role requires interaction with store personnel and supervisors, and adherence to company standards for merchandising and professional conduct.
