Civil Senior Engineer

Job Summary

On behalf of our client we are looking for a Civil Senior Engineer to join thier team in Riyadh.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design planning and execution of civil engineering projects ensuring all specifications technical requirements and quality standards are met.
  
• Collaborate with architects engineers and stakeholders to integrate civil engineering components into overall project designs.
  
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers ensuring adherence to best practices and quality benchmarks throughout project phases.
  
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress verify work quality and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
  
• Review and approve technical documentation including drawings plans and calculations ensuring accuracy and completeness prior to implementation.
  
• Evaluate design alternatives and recommend cost-effective high-performance and constructible solutions.
  
• Oversee on-site construction activities ensuring compliance with design specifications project timelines and safety requirements.
  
• Manage and coordinate site teams to optimize resource allocation minimize delays and maintain operational efficiency.
  
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures identifying cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality and safety are not compromised.
  
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory environmental and safety standards throughout project execution.
  
• Conduct risk assessments and feasibility analyses to identify potential challenges and implement mitigation strategies proactively
  
• Collaborate with project managers contractors and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality objectives
  
• Prepare and present detailed progress reports highlighting key achievements challenges and scope variations.
  
  

Requirements

Has experience in stadiums
Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field.

5-7 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on large-scale infrastructure or construction projects.

Experience managing teams overseeing technical aspects of design and construction and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.

Additional certifications in project management safety management (e.g. NEBOSH OSHA) or quality control (e.g. Six Sigma) are beneficial.

Advanced knowledge of civil engineering design construction and materials

Strong leadership and team management skills

Expertise in project planning and resource allocation

Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g. AutoCAD Civil 3D Revit)

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations

Ability to manage budgets timelines and quality standards

Experience with contract management and negotiations
