Job Summary

Qualification:

Bachelor in English 2-3 years American curriculum experience. Native/C2 level English. SAT/MAP experience preferred

*Teaching & Curriculum:
- Deliver American Common Core English curriculum (Reading Writing Speaking Listening Grammar)
- Prepare daily lesson plans weekly plans and semester curriculum maps
- Teach literature academic writing essay writing and research skills
- Prepare students for MAP PSAT SAT and AP English
- Use differentiated instruction for different learning levels

*Assessment & Reporting:
- Create quizzes tests assignments and project-based assessments
- Correct and grade work within 3 days and upload grades to the system (ClassDojo / School System)
- Prepare progress reports report cards and maintain student portfolios
- Conduct remedial classes for low achievers

* Classroom & Admin Duties:
- Maintain classroom discipline attendance and a positive learning environment
- Decorate classroom with educational displays and student work
- Attend staff meetings academic meetings parent-teacher meetings and training
- Participate in school events morning assembly and supervision duties
- Coordinate with other English teachers for curriculum alignment
