The Merchandiser Role

This full-time Merchandiser position is based in Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for maximizing product presence on shelves, executing in-store promotions, and ensuring adherence to planograms. The Merchandiser will also provide market information to support sales opportunities and manage all in-store activities according to company standards, utilizing the PACE system for data accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit designated TT outlets as per the daily journey plan provided by the supervisor.
• Merchandise SSFL products across various access points within TT stores, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
• Place Point of Sale (POS) materials next to SSFL displays where applicable.
• Ensure all access points are merchandised according to approved planograms.
• Rotate products using the FIFO (First-In, First-Out) method and remove sub-standard items.
• Maintain clean and fresh stock of SSF products on shelves at all times.
• Monitor and report competitive activities in the market.
• Report any deviations from agreed terms with assigned OT customers or outlets.
• Submit daily activity reports for the prior day to the supervisor.
• Participate in sampling and redemption campaigns as required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct in line with the Frito Lay code of conduct.
• Monitor market developments, define marketing objectives and sales methods, and estimate expected sales volume for a designated number of stores.
• Oversee the implementation of sales Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, sales methods, and promotional programs.
• Prepare specialized sales-related reports, provide recommendations, and store them in the designated database in accordance with approved policies and procedures.

System and Execution Responsibilities (PACE)

• Execute all store visits through the PACE Merchandising System.
• Adhere to the assigned journey plan.
• Ensure 100% accuracy of data, including photos, counts, and timestamps.
• Avoid manual or offline reporting.
• Close action items raised within the system.
