Job Title: Lead Cybersecurity Engineer – Data Protection & HSM
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (On-site)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Engineer (Data Protection & HSM Specialist) to join our project in Riyadh. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-grade data protection solutions, with a strong focus on Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), Key Management, and Data Encryption frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Deployment: Design and implement enterprise-wide data encryption, access controls, and Key Management frameworks integrating HSMs with databases (Oracle/MS SQL TDE), web servers, PAM, and PKI environments.
- HSM & Appliance Management: Oversee the deployment, lifecycle management, patching, and zero-downtime maintenance of Thales Luna, payShield, and CipherTrust Manager clusters.
- Security & Compliance Audits: Conduct periodic security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk reviews. Ensure strict adherence to compliance and regulatory standards including PCI-DSS, GDPR, and HIPAA.
- Incident Response & Monitoring: Monitor SIEM/log analysis solutions (Splunk, ELK) for anomalies, lead incident response workflows, and fine-tune threat detection alerts.
- Automation: Automate key-lifecycle processes (rotation, backups, provisioning) using Ansible and REST APIs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity, specializing in Data Protection, Encryption, and Key Management.
- Core Technical Expertise:
- Deep experience with Thales HSMs (Luna) and CipherTrust Data Security Platform.
- Strong knowledge of cryptographic protocols, algorithms, and APIs (AES, RSA, PKCS#11, KMIP, CTE).
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Thales Certified Engineer / Administrator (Luna, payShield, High Speed Encryption, CipherTrust).
- Industry security certifications (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electronics & Communications Engineering, or a related field
