About the Role

Watan Al-Taqa Equipment Company is looking for an accurate Accountant to join its financial and accounting team in Riyadh. The job holder will support daily financial operations, ensure transactions are recorded accurately, assist with month-end closing, and support regulatory compliance including Value Added Tax (VAT/ZATCA) requirements. This is an opportunity for Saudi professionals at the beginning of their careers who have 0-1 years of experience in accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately record and maintain accounting transactions.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly closing and financial reporting.
• Maintain appropriate accounting documentation and records.
• Support VAT and other legal compliance requirements.
• Monitor customer and supplier balances and assist with follow-ups.
• Assist with budget preparation, cash flow monitoring, and other financial activities.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate availability of financial information.
• Perform other accounting and financial duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in the accounting field.
• Ability to support daily financial operations.
• Ability to ensure transactions are recorded accurately.
• Assist in month-end closing.
• Ability to support regulatory compliance, including VAT/ZATCA.
