JTI is seeking a Commercial Planning Specialist to join its team in Makkah, with operations covering Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position is designed for professionals with 2-5 years of experience, focusing on establishing a robust commercial data foundation and translating data into actionable business insights.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Commercial Planning Specialist supports the market by enhancing data quality, ensuring reporting consistency, and facilitating evidence-based decision-making. This role is critical across various commercial functions, including sales, distribution, trade activation, and route-to-market activities, by providing reliable data and analytical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Map available market data sources and contribute to the development of a structured, documented, and scalable commercial database.
• Collect and consolidate data from internal systems, distributors, field teams, and approved external sources.
• Clean, reconcile, and validate datasets, identify gaps, duplicates, and inconsistencies, and coordinate corrective actions with data owners.
• Maintain data dictionaries, source definitions, naming conventions, refresh calendars, and implement basic quality controls.
• Build, automate, and maintain user-friendly reports and dashboards for sales, distribution, outlet coverage, route-to-market (RTM), and field execution key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Apply descriptive statistics, segmentation, and trend analysis to identify performance patterns, market gaps, risks, and opportunities.
• Support simulations and business cases related to outlet coverage, resource allocation, promotions, incentives, and commercial initiatives.
• Support the evaluation of trade and consumer activities, including return on investment (ROI) where data is available, and provide practical insights to Sales, Trade Marketing, Marketing, and Finance stakeholders.
• Partner with business teams and data owners to improve data availability, processes, and analytical capabilities.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience and a strong focus on data-driven commercial planning. This role requires an individual who can strengthen market data foundations, improve recurring reporting, and contribute practical analysis to business decisions.
