Role Description The Scaffoldign Inspector is a full-time, on-site role based in Jīzān, responsible for inspecting, assessing, and approving scaffolding structures to ensure they meet safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include conducting visual and technical inspections of newly erected and existing scaffolds, verifying compliance with relevant standards and project specifications, and documenting inspection findings. The role involves collaborating with construction teams and scaffold erectors, issuing permits to use or directives for corrective actions, and monitoring ongoing work at height to identify potential risks. The Scaffoldign Inspector will also maintain inspection records, participate in toolbox talks or safety briefings, and support continuous improvement of scaffolding practices across the project.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of scaffolding standards, structural stability, and safe work-at-height practices.
• Experience with site inspections, safety audits, and compliance with local and international regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret scaffold designs, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
• Competence in documenting findings, preparing inspection reports, and maintaining accurate records.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with supervisors, engineers, and site crews.
• Attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to identify and mitigate hazards in dynamic site conditions.
• Relevant certification or training in scaffolding inspection, safety, or construction (e.g., CISRS, OSHA, or equivalent) is highly beneficial.
• Previous experience in industrial or large-scale construction environments, preferably involving scaffolding operations.
• Ability to work on-site in Jīzān, including exposure to outdoor conditions and physically demanding environments.
