About LITCO Fabricators

LITCO Fabricators is a specialist subcontractor in steel fabrication, metal works, aluminium works, architectural metalwork and site installation, delivering projects across the UAE and GCC region.

We are looking for a Site Engineer to coordinate and supervise site activities, inspections, material movement, progress monitoring, and project execution.

The ideal candidate should have experience in any of the following : steel structures, steel erection, fabrication, metal works, aluminium, façade, PEB, oil & gas, precast, glass, fit-out, or other related construction and installation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site execution and installation activities.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate and follow up on site inspections, including MIR (Material Inspection Request) and WIR (Work Inspection Request).
• Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and client representatives regarding inspections, approvals, site activities, and technical requirements.
• Monitor site progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Take and record actual site progress and coordinate with the planning team for progress updates.
• Coordinate closely with the Project Engineer, Planning Engineer, QA/QC team, site team, and management.
• Track material movement in and out of the site, including deliveries, received quantities, issued materials, usage, and balance quantities.
• Maintain records related to material tracking, SOR, inspections, progress, and site activities.
• Follow up on material availability and coordinate with relevant teams to avoid delays to site activities.
• Identify site issues, technical requirements, delays, and discrepancies and report them to the Project Engineer and management.
• Coordinate with fabrication, workshop, procurement, logistics, and project teams whenever required.
• Review and understand construction, fabrication, shop, and installation drawings relevant to the project.
• Assist in maintaining proper project and site documentation.
• Ensure site activities are executed in accordance with project requirements, approved documentation, and applicable safety procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant site/construction experience.
• Experience in any of the following industries will be considered:
  • Structural Steel / Steel Erection
  • Steel & Metal Fabrication
  • Metal Works
  • Aluminium Works
  • Façade / Cladding
  • PEB / Pre-Engineered Buildings
  • Oil & Gas / EPC
  • Precast
  • Glass & Glazing
  • Fit-Out / Architectural Works
  • Other related construction, fabrication, or installation industries
• Practical knowledge of site inspections and inspection procedures, including MIR and WIR.
• Experience coordinating with consultants and main contractors.
• Ability to monitor site progress and prepare progress reports.
• Experience in material tracking and site documentation.
• Ability to read and understand relevant construction, fabrication, shop, and installation drawings.
• Good coordination skills with Project Engineers, Planning Engineers, QA/QC teams, site teams, and management.
• Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Saudi Arabia / GCC project experience is preferred.
