MicroStrategy Consultant (Banking & Financial Services)
Location: Remote (Saudi Arabia Hours)
Contract: 6-Month Initial Contract (Extendable)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced MicroStrategy Consultant with 8+ years of hands-on experience to join a major Data & Analytics programme within the Banking & Financial Services sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions leveraging a Teradata Data Warehouse environment. You will play a key role in enabling critical operational, analytical, management, and regulatory reporting capabilities across a highly regulated organisation.
This position requires strong expertise in MicroStrategy, Teradata, SQL, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Stakeholder Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, dossiers, and analytics applications.
- Gather, analyse, and document business and reporting requirements from key stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and business intelligence solutions.
- Develop executive dashboards, operational reports, KPI scorecards, and management reporting capabilities.
- Build and optimise Intelligent Cubes, metrics, attributes, prompts, filters, and reporting objects.
- Work extensively with Teradata Data Warehouse environments to support reporting and analytical requirements.
- Collaborate closely with business users, data engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Support regulatory, compliance, risk, and management reporting initiatives.
- Optimise reporting performance and troubleshoot platform, reporting, and data-related issues.
- Participate in solution design workshops, testing activities, deployment, and post-production support.
- Ensure adherence to reporting governance, security standards, and BI best practices.
- Provide recommendations around reporting strategy, performance improvements, and platform optimisation.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of experience working with MicroStrategy technologies within enterprise environments.

- Proven experience working within Teradata Data Warehouse environments.
- Advanced SQL development, data analysis, and query optimisation skills.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modelling principles.
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale BI, reporting, and analytics solutions.
- Previous experience within:
- Banking
- Financial Services
- Regulatory Environments
- Central Banking
- Other Highly Regulated Industries
- Experience supporting business-critical reporting and analytics functions.
- Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
