The Role: Jr. Purchasing Specialist/Site Buyer

Lenovo is seeking a Jr. Purchasing Specialist/Site Buyer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to Saudi Nationals with 0-1 years of experience. The role involves managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and resolving various procurement-related issues to ensure smooth purchasing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders, including placement and coordination with suppliers to resolve order and payment issues.
• Provide daily updates on BSR commitments.
• Oversee shipment follow-up and tracking, collaborating with logistics and import/export teams from suppliers.
• Work with cross-functional teams and suppliers to address shipment and material issues, such as receiving discrepancies, quantity mismatches, quality concerns, and RMA cases.
• Collaborate closely with GSM GCM to resolve material allocation, supply, and pricing challenges.
• Support accounting and suppliers in resolving invoice and payment-related issues.
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution and efficient purchasing operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and responsible, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• A strong team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good written and spoken English language skills.
