About the Role

Sofitel Jabal Omar is looking for a Waiter to join its team in Makkah. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, from welcoming guests to processing payments. The role requires 0 to 1 year of experience and is available on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers, provide them with food and beverage menus, take orders, and serve food and beverages.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide advice on available food and beverage options.
• Prepare, arrange, and clean tables, and organize their contents including dishes and utensils and return them to their designated places.
• Present bills to customers, receive and record cash payments, and use Point of Sale (POS) machines.
• Handle initial customer complaints and escalate them to the relevant supervisor for necessary action.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0 to 1 year of practical experience in the customer service or hospitality field.
• Ability to deal with customers with tact and professionalism.
• Good communication and listening skills.

Work Environment

The waiter works within the hospitality team at Sofitel Jabal Omar in Makkah. The job is full-time and requires on-site presence to provide direct service to customers.
