Role & responsibilities

1. To ensure all the equipment in the laboratory works correctly.

2. To ensure calibration of all equipment as recommended by the supplier.

3. To keep track of spare inventory and ensure minimum required spares stock.

4. Proper allocation of manpower in the shift.

5. To ensure all the product testing / analysis are carried out as per standard operating practice.

6. Proper communication with production department for product quality.

7. Finished product ware inspection for product storage and handling in terms of packaging and physical damages.

8. Proper co-ordination with IT department for test parameters entry in the system.

9. Customer wise allocation of coils as per standard practice.

10. Proper communication with dispatch department for correct material dispatch.

11. Inspection of process for any deviations from standard operating practices.

12. Timely reporting to the authorized personnel for any deviation / equipment break-down.

13. Preparations of process break down analysis report.

14. Inspection & records of machine & equipment for any deviations.

15. Recording process variables as advised.

16. To ensure safe and healthy working atmosphere.

17. To maintain good housekeeping in the department.

18. Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
