Role & responsibilities

1. To ensure correct working of all machines / equipment in the plant.
2. To ensure calibration of all equipment as per laid standards.
3. To keep track of spare part inventory and ensure minimum required spares stock.
4. Proper allocation of manpower in the shift.
5. To ensure all machine preventive maintenance is followed by fitters timely and correctly.
6. Proper communication with production department for maximum availability.
7. To attend machine breakdown if any.
8. Preparation and analysis of breakdowns related to the department.
9. Timely reporting to the authorized personnel for any machine deviation / equipment break-down.
10. Inspection & records of machine & equipment for any deviations.
11. Recording process variables as advised.
12. To ensure safe and healthy working atmosphere.
13. To maintain good housekeeping in the department.
14. Adhere to safety rules and regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile

5+ years in Mechanical Maintenance in a hot metal, copper rod & bar production production/manufacturing company.
