We are seeking an analytical and results-driven PMO Engineer to strengthen project governance, improve performance visibility, and support consistent delivery across our development portfolio.

About the Role

The PMO Engineer will support the development and implementation of project management standards, reporting frameworks, and control processes across DWE’s projects. Working closely with project managers and internal departments, you will turn project data into actionable insights, identify delivery risks, and support informed management decisions.

This role requires strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of project controls, and the confidence to challenge incomplete information and follow up on agreed actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of PMO policies, procedures, templates, and project governance standards across the development portfolio.
• Consolidate and validate project information covering schedules, budgets, procurement, risks, changes, and key milestones.
• Prepare portfolio dashboards, management reports, and executive presentations that clearly highlight performance, exceptions, and decisions required.
• Monitor project performance against approved baselines and KPIs; investigate variances and follow up on corrective actions.
• Review project schedules and progress updates, challenging inconsistent assumptions, unsupported progress, and unrealistic forecasts.
• Maintain portfolio milestone trackers and identify dependencies, approval bottlenecks, and cross-project delivery risks.
• Support project budget monitoring and cost reporting in coordination with project teams, Finance, and Commercial.
• Maintain consolidated risk, issue, change, and action registers, ensuring clear ownership, deadlines, and escalation.
• Coordinate project reviews, governance meetings, and stage-gate assessments; track decisions and actions through to closure.
• Monitor compliance with reporting requirements, approval workflows, and document control standards.
• Support resource planning and highlight capacity constraints that may affect project delivery.
• Improve reporting tools and data quality, reducing manual effort and strengthening the reliability of management information.
• Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement across DWE’s project delivery processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in PMO, project controls, planning, or project management within real estate development or construction.
• Strong understanding of project governance, scheduling, cost control, risk management, and change control.
• Demonstrated experience preparing management dashboards, portfolio reports, and executive presentations.
• Ability to analyze project data, identify trends and discrepancies, and communicate clear recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, with the ability to review schedules and assess delivery performance.
• Experience using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
• Strong coordination, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience within a developer’s PMO or a project management consultancy in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience supporting multiple residential, commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use development projects.
• Familiarity with development lifecycles, stage-gate approvals, and investment governance.
• Exposure to ERP systems and digital project management platforms.
• PMP, PMI-SP, or a relevant project management or project controls certification.
