An entity operating in the education sector that oversees the operation and management of a group of educational complexes and schools, seeking to enhance its operational efficiency, develop its administrative system, and achieve its growth, expansion, and sustainability targets.

About the Role

The VP of Operations is responsible for leading and developing the operational system for educational complexes, overseeing performance efficiency and operational readiness, and transforming strategic directions into measurable execution plans while ensuring optimal resource utilization, adherence to governance and regulatory requirements, and promoting quality of service and continuous improvement.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Lead the operational strategy for educational complexes and align it with the strategic goals of the education sector.
• Oversee operational performance and ensure the readiness of educational complexes and the efficiency of their operations.
• Prepare and monitor operational plans and KPIs, and address deviations.
• Lead operational efficiency improvement initiatives and enhance the optimal use of resources and budgets.
• Oversee the implementation of policies, governance, and compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Monitor the quality of educational services from an operational perspective and school accreditation requirements.
• Oversee risk management, business continuity, and operational readiness.
• Lead operations teams and promote integration between educational complexes and central departments.
• Support growth and expansion plans and the opening of new complexes by evaluating readiness, resources, and costs.
• Prepare executive reports and provide recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in operations management and executive leadership.
• Proven leadership experience in managing multi-site operations, preferably in the education sector or the operation and management of educational complexes.
• Experience in leading leadership and operational teams and overseeing institutional performance.
• Experience in strategic and operational planning, performance management, and KPIs.
• Experience in budget and cost management, operational efficiency improvement, and financial sustainability.
• Knowledge of governance, compliance, quality, and school accreditation.
• Familiarity with the requirements of the Education and Training Evaluation Commission (ETEC), NAFES tests, Aptitude (Qudurat), Achievement (Tahsili), STEP, and international tests.
• Preference for experience with Cognia academic accreditation requirements.
• High capabilities in leadership, influence, decision-making, and stakeholder management.
• Advanced skills in analysis, reporting, and executive presentations.
