The Role of Sales Engineer
SAECO is seeking a Sales Engineer to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on establishing and maintaining customer relationships to drive sales within the company's operational sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle and build new connections to provide solutions to customers.
- Conduct market penetration activities through customer meetings, calls, and emails to identify new sales opportunities.
- Understand the customer's decision-making process.
- Engage clients regarding the company's products or services and negotiate pricing.
- Attend job explanation meetings and site visits, gather technical information, and discuss the Scope of Work (SOW) with the proposal engineer, technical manager, and Sales manager.
- Coordinate with proposal engineers and divisional managers to ensure timely submission of offers/bids.
- Coordinate with the contracts administrator of the sales account to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth business flow.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience in service sales, with prior experience working with ARAMCO.
Essential Skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to identify new sales opportunities and develop customer accounts.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and coordinate effectively with technical, proposal, and contracts teams.
