About the Role

Norconsult Telematics is seeking an experienced Odoo Developer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves delivering and customizing Odoo solutions across various client projects, resolving complex functional and technical issues, and supporting scalable integrations and upgrades within the Odoo ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules to meet specific business and project requirements.
• Build and maintain integrations between Odoo and external systems using APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across both frontend and backend layers within Odoo implementations.
• Manage Odoo version upgrades and facilitate data migration between different versions.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and project managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide ongoing support and implement enhancements for live Odoo systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Odoo development and module customization.
• Strong expertise in Python programming, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, Method Resolution Order (MRO), decorators, and data structures.
• Proficiency in the Odoo ORM framework, MVC architecture, and security models.
• Experience in PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and SQL query writing.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for Odoo view customization.
• Experience integrating Odoo with third-party services via APIs.
• Knowledge of Docker or similar containerization tools is considered a plus.
