Job Advertisement – Mechanical Engineer

The company announces its desire to attract a Mechanical Engineer with high technical efficiency and practical experience in executing and supervising mechanical works for construction and commercial projects, to work within the team of the company's new commercial building project.

Work Location: Madinah

Project Details

• A commercial building consisting of 9 floors.
• 2 basements.
• A total area exceeding 2,100 square meters.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Supervise the execution of all mechanical works and systems in the project according to approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Follow up on HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system works.
• Supervise fire fighting and suppression systems and related mechanical systems.
• Follow up on water, sewage, supply, and plumbing networks.
• Review drawings and ensure the compatibility of execution with engineering requirements and the Saudi Building Code.
• Coordinate with the civil engineer, architect, electrical engineer, consultant, and contractors.
• Monitor the quality of work and completion rates and prepare periodic technical reports.
• Conduct quantity surveying and review statements and technical claims related to mechanical works.
• Address technical remarks and ensure testing, commissioning, and handover are conducted according to approved requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of practical experience in the field of mechanical works for buildings.
• Proven experience in multi-story commercial building projects of at least 10 practical years; projects including basements are preferred.
• Good knowledge of HVAC systems, fire fighting, and water and sewage networks.
• Ability to read and review engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of the Saudi Building Code and related technical requirements.
• High skills in supervision, coordination, technical work management, and problem-solving.
