Al-Ayuni Investment and Contracting Company is seeking an Engineer, Procurement Architectural to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for supporting procurement activities within infrastructure development projects.
Role Overview
The Engineer, Procurement Architectural is responsible for managing procurement tasks related to infrastructure projects. This involves reviewing technical documents, evaluating proposals from contractors and suppliers, and coordinating with various engineering and project management teams to ensure all activities align with project requirements, quality standards, budgets, and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Review architectural drawings, master plans, and project layouts.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, scopes of work, and bills of quantities for tendering.
- Coordinate procurement activities for infrastructure development projects.
- Evaluate technical proposals submitted by contractors and suppliers.
- Support tender evaluations, technical comparisons, and contract award recommendations.
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, and infrastructure teams to ensure design compatibility.
- Review procurement requirements for roads, sidewalks, street lighting, drainage systems, and utility networks.
- Monitor material and service procurement to ensure compliance with approved specifications and project schedules.
- Identify technical discrepancies, assess procurement risks, and support cost optimization initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, project requirements, and organizational procurement procedures.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in procurement, specifically within architectural or infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated ability to review technical drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
- Experience in evaluating contractor and supplier proposals.
- Strong coordination skills to work effectively with engineering, procurement, and project management teams.
Work Location
This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time engagement.
