About the Role

John Crane is seeking a Customer Reliability Engineer to provide on-site support to external customers in Turaif, Northern Frontier. This full-time role focuses on enhancing the reliability and performance of rotating equipment, with a specific emphasis on sealing systems. The engineer will conduct analyses, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform reliability assessments and failure analyses of customer rotating equipment, focusing on sealing system performance and optimization.
• Lead and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for sealing systems and rotating equipment, including site assessments, data collection, analysis, reporting, and presenting findings and recommendations to customers.
• Conduct field troubleshooting activities, diagnose problems, develop corrective actions, and implement appropriate solutions in collaboration with customer teams.
• Deliver detailed technical presentations and recommendations to customers to support reliability improvement initiatives, sales opportunities, and RCA activities.
• Provide on-site technical support for John Crane products, including assisting with customer maintenance activities, installation, dismantling, inspection, and assembly of mechanical seals and related equipment.
• Ensure all work adheres to John Crane standards, procedures, quality requirements, and safety policies.
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through effective technical support and professional communication.

Required Experience and Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in reliability engineering, particularly with rotating equipment and sealing systems.
• Proficiency in conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using methodologies such as Fault Tree Analysis, Ishikawa (Fishbone) Diagrams, and Apollo RCA.
• Demonstrated ability to identify performance and reliability improvement opportunities.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for equipment issues.
• Ability to conduct structured problem-solving techniques.
• Excellent technical presentation and communication skills for engaging with customers.

Work Environment

This role is based in Turaif, Northern Frontier, requiring on-site support to external customers. The position is full-time and involves direct interaction with customer teams and equipment.
