About ABB and the Role

ABB is seeking an OT Security Analyst for its Electrification (EL) division. This full-time position is based in Makkah, specifically covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role supports ABB Electrification's global OT security operations across worldwide factories and operational sites, contributing to the Regional Security – AMEA / Head of Information Security & Compliance – EL.

Role Purpose and Context

The OT Security Analyst acts as a coordinator and facilitator, bridging global OT security services, country-level Information Security (IS) teams, and factory operations. The primary objective is to ensure cohesive and consistent OT security management. This involves responsibility for OT device onboarding, vulnerability management, asset visibility, compliance support, and stakeholder reporting, all in alignment with ABB IS policies, standards, and global OT security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and support the onboarding of OT devices onto Intrusion Detection System (IDS) platforms, including Nozomi and Claroty, across global factory sites.
• Configure and maintain OT security modules within ServiceNow (SNOW) for asset and incident management.
• Generate and analyze vulnerability reports from IDS platforms, contextualizing findings for specific factory OT environments.
• Coordinate remediation efforts with factory and country IS teams, monitor progress, validate fix effectiveness, and track remediation status.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive OT asset inventories across IDS platforms and ServiceNow, ensuring full asset visibility.
• Support periodic OT security assessments, compliance checks, and audit activities to ensure adherence to ABB IS policies and OT security standards (ISA/IEC 62443, NIST CSF).
• Provide weekly status updates on onboarding progress, vulnerability management activities, and key risks to relevant stakeholders.
• Act as the primary liaison between global OT security services, country IS teams, and factory operations.
• Set up and improve local engagement processes to coordinate with global OT security services and meet compliance goals.
• Ensure all activities comply with ABB Regulations, ABB Group IS Guidelines, and applicable security policies, maintaining audit readiness.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in OT security or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with IDS platforms such as Nozomi and Claroty.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow for asset and incident management.
• Knowledge of OT security standards including ISA/IEC 62443 and NIST CSF.
• Experience in vulnerability management and remediation coordination.
• Ability to coordinate with diverse teams across different geographies.
