About the Client

Our client is a prominent Technology Solutions & Systems Integration provider in Saudi Arabia, supporting major national infrastructure and industrial megaprojects (including leading mining and telecommunications enterprises). To ensure the seamless execution of high-priority security systems and site infrastructure projects in specialized remote environments, they are seeking an experienced Lead Civil / Structural Engineer to join their project team on a 12-month project-based contract.

Job Title: Lead Civil / Structural Engineer

Job Summary

The Lead Civil Engineer will oversee all civil, structural, and infrastructure foundation works essential for integrating security systems and site installations. This role leads site civil execution, manages sub-contractor alignment, coordinates cross-disciplinary interfaces (MEP/Telecom), and ensures strict compliance with project QA/QC specifications and safety codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision: Supervise and coordinate all civil and structural works related to security system installations (e.g., CCTV poles, gate barriers, control rooms, cable routing).
• Drawing & Layout Review: Review design drawings, shop drawings, and as-built layouts to ensure proper integration of civil and security system elements.
• Foundation & Infrastructure Installation: Ensure proper installation of foundations, handholes, manholes, cable ducts, and equipment bases as per approved drawings.
• Site Progress & Quality Control: Monitor daily site activities and progress to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate with electrical, telecom, and security system teams to ensure seamless interface and alignment between civil and MEP works.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for site inspections and technical approvals.
• Conflict Resolution: Assist in resolving any on-site conflicts between civil infrastructure and system installation works.
• Standards & Code Compliance: Ensure all civil works comply with project specifications, QA/QC standards, and applicable local engineering codes.
• Site Inspections & NCR Management: Conduct site inspections and ensure swift corrective actions for any non-conformance issues.
• Documentation: Maintain updated records of all civil activities, inspection requests (WIRs), and test results.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience: 5 to 10 years of hands-on civil/structural engineering experience, ideally within industrial infrastructure, EPC, or security/telecom site preparation projects.
• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of structural foundations, cabling trenching/ducts, concrete works, CCTV pole foundations, and control building infrastructure.
• Interface Management: Proven track record of coordinating civil works with MEP, Electrical, and Telecom teams.
• Skills: Strong site troubleshooting, inspection management, sub-contractor supervision, and fluent English communication.

Job Conditions & Project Details

• Employment Type: Full-Time | 12-Month Project-Based Contract (Subject to renewal based on project requirements and performance).

• Location / Work Environment: Remote Sites (located 40+ km outside Dammam / Ras Al-Khair / Wa'ad Al-Shamal regions).

• Accommodation: Provided by the company near the project site (Individual / Single status setup).
