JOB TITLE
AI Spatial Art Experience Designer — Spatial Computing & Immersive Creativity
ABOUT THE JOB
De Art is an independent digital visual arts and cultural media platform dedicated to exploring the intersection of art, creativity, and emerging technologies.
We are seeking an AI Spatial Art Experience Designer to explore how artificial intelligence and spatial computing can transform the way audiences experience digital artworks and cultural content.
This role combines generative AI, spatial design, immersive media, and digital creativity. The successful candidate will investigate innovative ways to bring art into augmented, virtual, and mixed-reality environments through intelligent and interactive experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Research applications of AI and spatial computing in digital art and cultural experiences.
• Design concepts for immersive and spatially interactive artistic environments.
• Explore how generative AI can contribute to dynamic and context-aware spatial experiences.
• Investigate the integration of AI-generated visual content into AR, VR, and mixed-reality environments.
• Develop creative concepts and experimental prototypes for spatial art experiences.
• Explore user interaction, spatial storytelling, and immersive visual communication.
• Collaborate with artists, researchers, and creative technologists on interdisciplinary projects.
• Evaluate emerging spatial technologies and their potential applications in visual arts.
• Document research findings and contribute to De Art’s technology-focused editorial projects.
• Follow developments in spatial computing, generative AI, and immersive digital culture.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Background in digital arts, interaction design, computer science, immersive media, or a related field.
• Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools and generative AI technologies.
• Understanding of spatial computing, augmented reality, virtual reality, or mixed reality.
• Experience with 3D environments, interactive design, or immersive storytelling is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Unity, Unreal Engine, WebXR, or related technologies is beneficial.
• Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical and artistic concepts clearly.
• An interdisciplinary perspective connecting AI, visual arts, and emerging digital technologies is highly valued.
