Laundry Kitchen Mechanic

About the Role
Four Seasons Hotels Limited is seeking a Laundry Kitchen Mechanic for a full-time position. This role is responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of laundry and kitchen equipment to ensure the efficient operation of hotel facilities. The Laundry Kitchen Mechanic contributes to operational excellence by minimizing equipment downtime through effective preventive maintenance and timely repairs, while also maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on laundry and kitchen equipment according to established schedules.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and gas-powered equipment.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns.
Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues before they impact operations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Coordinate with Engineering, Laundry, and Culinary teams to support daily operations.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Qualifications and Experience

Previous experience as a Laundry Kitchen Mechanic or in a similar maintenance role, preferably within the hospitality sector.
Strong knowledge of commercial laundry and kitchen equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing-related faults.
Understanding of preventive maintenance practices and safety procedures.
