F&B Service Expert

About the Role
Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking an F&B Service Expert to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role focuses on creating memorable and unique guest experiences, extending beyond basic food and beverage service. The F&B Service Expert takes initiative to deliver a wide range of services, ensuring guests enjoy their meals in a professional and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities

Set tables and prepare dining areas for guests.
Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Interact with and serve guests, making transactions feel like part of the overall experience.
Clean work areas and maintain supplies.
Ensure a safe workplace by adhering to company policies and procedures.
Uphold quality standards in all aspects of service.
Maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication style.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Capability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
Read and visually verify information, including menus.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
Related Work Experience: Less than 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
License or Certification: None required.
