The position requires a professional who can independently evaluate, select, and adapt engineering techniques to address complex design challenges.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, specification, and related services for structures and foundations, including those made of concrete, steel, wood, or engineered products.
Apply conventional engineering practices while devising new approaches to encountered problems.
Plan, schedule, and conduct work that requires independent judgment in evaluating and adapting engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Address complex features such as conflicting design requirements, suitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination needs.
Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
Plan, budget, organize, coordinate, and control projects as a lead professional.
Conduct employee performance appraisals and contribute to coaching and developing lower-level professionals.

Required Experience
Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in structural engineering. The role requires a professional capable of performing all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter under general supervision, demonstrating sound judgment in engineering applications.
