Role Description The Solar Winds Expert with project management (Implementation) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah. The individual in this role will design, deploy, configure, and optimize Solar Winds monitoring solutions across client environments, ensuring robust performance, availability, and security. Daily responsibilities include gathering requirements, developing implementation plans, coordinating project timelines, and managing stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves integrating Solar Winds with existing IT infrastructure, creating dashboards and alerts, performing health checks, and documenting configurations and procedures. The Solar Winds Expert will collaborate closely with infrastructure, network, security, and service delivery teams to support ongoing operations, provide training and knowledge transfer, and drive continual improvement of monitoring and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret monitoring data, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize system performance. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with clients, and provide clear documentation and training. Candidates should possess Program Management and Project Management capabilities to lead Solar Winds implementation projects, manage scope, schedule, and resources, and ensure successful delivery. Candidates should possess Project Planning skills to define requirements, create detailed implementation plans, track progress, and manage risks and dependencies. Hands-on expertise in Solar Winds implementation and administration (NPM, NTA, SAM, or related modules), including design, configuration, and integration with enterprise IT environments. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and cloud environments, preferably within managed services or NOC/SOC contexts. Relevant academic background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in Solar Winds, ITIL, or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are an advantage.
