Sales Representative Modern Trade

Job Summary

Our client a leading FMCG and beverage company in Saudi Arabia is looking for a Sales Representative - Modern Trade to join its Sales team in Jeddah.

The role is responsible for achieving sales targets across assigned Modern Trade accounts while ensuring strong product availability visibility pricing execution promotional compliance and customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full product availability across assigned Modern Trade accounts including new product launches.
• Prevent out-of-stock situations through effective replenishment and order follow-up.
• Achieve assigned sales targets in volume value and distribution.
• Execute in-store promotions planograms visibility activities and merchandising standards.
• Collect purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely and accurate processing in SAP.
• Monitor competitor pricing promotions product launches and market activity.
• Maintain accurate customer records sales documentation and account information.
• Prepare regular sales performance reports covering targets KPIs and market feedback.
• Identify growth opportunities within assigned Modern Trade accounts.
• Follow up on customer payments in line with approved credit terms.
• Ensure sales activities comply with company policies trade agreements quality safety and ethical standards.
• Build strong and professional relationships with customers and key account contacts.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of FMCG sales experience preferably in Modern Trade.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good understanding of sales targets distribution merchandising promotions and customer service.
• Ability to analyze sales data and provide useful market insights.
• Experience using SAP or similar sales/order management systems is an advantage.
• Valid drivers license.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
• Good command of English.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience in FMCG beverages food products consumer goods retail chains supermarkets or Modern Trade environments will be highly considered.
