Procurement Engineer

Job Summary

Manage the end-to-end procurement process including reviewing PRs BOQs and technical specifications sourcing and evaluating qualified local and international suppliers issuing RFQs obtaining quotations and preparing technical and commercial comparisons. Ensure supplier quotations comply with project technical requirements. Negotiate prices payment terms delivery schedules warranties and commercial terms. Prepare and issue POs after obtaining the required approvals. Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery evaluate supplier performance and identify alternative suppliers and cost-saving opportunities. Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier documentation. Ensure the best balance between technical compliance cost quality and delivery.

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Telecommunications Engineering Communication Engineering or a related engineering field.
  
• Technical knowledge of ELV Security Systems and IT/Network Systems.
  
• Experience in procurement and supplier management is preferred.
  
• Procurement or Supply Chain certification is preferred.
  
• Relevant certifications in ELV Networking or Security Systems are an advantage.
  
• Proficiency in MS Office.
  
• Experience using ERP / Procurement Systems.
  
• Good organizational and coordination skills.
  
• Ability to work under pressure.
  
• Fast and accurate data entry skills.
  

Required Skills:

Education & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Communications Engineering Computer Engineering or a related engineering discipline. PMP certification is preferred. ITIL certification or certifications related to Operation & Maintenance and Services Management are considered an additional advantage. Specialized courses or certifications in ELV / Security Systems are preferred. Minimum Required Skills & Experience 5-7 years of experience in Project Management preferably in Operation & Maintenance (O&M) projects. Experience in managing Security Systems and ELV projects. Knowledge of CCTV Access Control VMS Perimeter Security and Networks. Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance and following up on work orders and service requests. Knowledge of KPIs and SLAs and experience in preparing performance reports. Ability to manage project teams resources costs risks and project scope. Strong communication leadership problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Project Management Software and English language.
