The Role of QA Technician
Almarai is seeking a QA Technician to join its team. This full-time role involves coordinating all Quality-related aspects within Poultry Operations, under the guidance of the SQAM/DQAM: Poultry. The QA Technician will assist the Quality team within the plant to effectively manage all aspects of quality control and assurance.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate all Quality aspects within Poultry Operations.
Assist the Quality team in managing quality processes effectively.
Conduct Quality awareness programs independently.
Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of quality systems and audits.
Communicate effectively with a multinational workforce regarding quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Food Services or a related field.
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a Quality role within a Meat Processing Plant, with a preference for poultry experience.
Familiarity with best practice Quality standards, including those outlined by APD and ISO 22000:2005.
Experience at a supervisory level.

Required Skills

Good working knowledge of Quality standards.
Ability to conduct Quality awareness programs independently.
Proficiency in managing quality systems and audits.
Effective communication skills with a multinational workforce.
Excellent written and spoken English.
